:-) I'm still undecided too, what a wrench to have to watch your own team play football. Thankfully for exile he has now been spared this awful experience after his missus has now told him what he's doing on Saturday.
Btw, there's a lot of 3pm games on Sat, so would need to find a bar with a few screens if you're outside.

last time I went to goodison was in 1999, despite getting best 6-0 it was still a funny day. rows with a particular old bill while in the queue, only to have him standing right next to me near the away stand and the banter/piss taking/friction continuing for another hour. by the last half hour, our fans start pretending we were scoring goals and celebrating like lunatics. the look on the locals faces 😂

I remember the 1986 match there to decide which team finished as runner’s up. They beat us 3-1 on the night but by then our players were absolutely shagged and the spirit had gone after being pipped by Liverpool the previous Saturday.
I remember just before the match a big barrel chested police sergeant standing right in front of our away end, holding one of those big wooden pace sticks that the Liverpool police used to have and thrusting his chest out as coins rained down upon him from our supporters. He had the last laugh when he picked them up and pocketed them all when the match started.

Optimistic this game so COYI.
Alverez is on 9 Yellows, wonder if he "picks up" one in this game, will make sense TBH!!!! Although it sees him miss 2 games, surely Burnley at home and then Villa, Philips can fill in, will also keep him rested for the 2 EL games, before the run in and some tougher fixtures.
You know it makes sense!
